First steps

I welcome enquiries for therapy and will take into account individual personal requirements. 

If you’re interested in finding out more, get in touch via the enquiry form or a text and we can book a 50 minute initial consultation. We’d meet at my home in Barton Stacey, or online. In a first meeting, we will think about your current and past experiences and what has brought you to this point, and will think together about what’s happening for you, and what you hope for from counselling. 

Choosing the right psychotherapist may be the most important decision for anyone seeking this kind of help therefore I allow 50 minutes for the first session and charge £35. I ask for the fee in advance of the first session. There is no obligation to continue. During this, we’ll explore the issues you’d like to focus on and the changes you’re hoping for. Together, we’ll discuss your options — whether that’s working for a set period or taking a more open-ended, exploratory approach. 

Both of these are an opportunity for you to see if I’m the right person to support you. It’s your time to ask questions, find out what to expect before deciding to move forward.

You can then decide if you would like to carry on working together.
